Where we work
Established in 1976, every year we help over two million people across 9 country programmes in Africa, Asia and Latin America. We create opportunities for people around the world to improve their lives and shape their own futures. By building skills and connecting people at all levels in society, we help communities deliver practical solutions with long term impact.
Our impact
Through comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation techniques, we are determined to make every penny count and every project sustainable. Our finances
We prioritise economy, efficiency and effectiveness in all we do and our proud of our low overheads. Last year, 92p out of every £1 spent was spent on our charitable work overseas, with just 8p spent on governance, fundraising and UK operations (including development education and awareness raising in UK schools).
