Meet Glory

  • Hello,
  • my name is
  • Glory.

Meet Glory. Glory is a widow with five children.

When she lost her husband, she also lost the land that used to provide food and an income for her family…

Now she can earn up to 13 times the amount she used to earn weeding.

Glory was forced to find hard farm labour to try to make a living and provide for her children.

She managed to find work just five days a month. She earned 150 Naira (50p) a day weeding cassava fields. She could not afford to repair her dilapidated house and struggled to afford to buy food and clothing for her family.

Concern Universal provided Glory with cassava processing equipment so that should could start a small business. Now she can earn up to 13 times the amount she used to earn weeding. She can afford to provide for her family, repair her home and she is an inspiration to other widows in the community.

Please help Concern Universal continue to change lives like Glory’s…
