Concern Universal provides free curriculum-linked workshops and assemblies to schools across the West Midlands. This helps schools embed a global dimension to the curriculum and gain international and Eco-school awards.
Concern Universal ‘Why Poverty?’ workshops engage pupils in the world outside their classroom, to critically explore and debate global issues including; climate change and sustainability; child rights and responsibilities; water and sanitation; food security; nutrition; and enterprise. These workshops develop the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to grow up making informed and responsible life choices for a fairer more sustainable world.
